Liverpool History

Liverpool football club were found in 1892 they were split apart from Everton FC and they joined the football league. they appointed Tom Watson as their first ever manager and he got off to a good start with winning two league championships and then another two in the 1920's then yet another one in 1947. but this great successful run came to in end after 50 consecutive years in the first division Liverpool were relegated in 1954. bill shankly was appointed in 1959 as the new Liverpool manager and got Liverpool back into the first division he won many leagues there and 4 European cups. after that they struggled to keep on going in the premiership but in 2005 Liverpool travelled to Istanbul for the champions league final to play against Milan and being 3-0 down at half time they came back and won on penalties.
